'Heroes' star Adrian Pasdar arrested for DUI; actor refused to take breathalyzer

"Heroes" star Adrian Pasdar may be wishing he had his on-screen character's supernatural power of flight.

Pasdar, who plays lawyer-turned-senator Nathan Petrelli on the NBC drama, was arrested for DUI early Wednesday morning after police spotted him driving irresponsibly, TMZ.com reports.

Cops clocked the actor going more than 90 mph at 2:59 a.m. on the 405 Freeway in Los Angeles, where Pasdar was said to be "failing to maintain his lane."

According to the report, the police gave Pasdar a field sobriety test after they detected the smell of alcohol coming from his vehicle as they approached.

Pasdar, who is married to Dixie Chicks singer Natalie Maines, was placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI and was taken to a nearby jail.

Because the 44-year-old actor reportedly refused to take a breathalyzer, his bail was set at the high rate of $15,000.
