Rachelle Lefevre has gone from taking lives as a 'Twilight' vampire to saving lives this fall on the new medical drama "Off the Map". Rachelle will be playing Eva, a "hippie" doctor who works in the tropical region where the show will be based. The show is being produced by 'Grey's Anatomy's' Shonda Rhimes.
According to Deadline Hollywood, a little snippet about the show:
which is set at a understaffed, under-stocked medical clinic in South America founded by a top American surgeon (Martin Henderson).
Meryl Streep's daughter, Marnie Gummer, is also reportedly joining the cast. Others already signed on are: Enrique Muriano, Jose Julian, Caroline Dhavernas, and Jason George.
