Dina Lohan: Lindsay is 'Doing Well' In Rehab!

As she gets started on what will be her longest stay in a rehab facility to date, troubled actress Lindsay Lohan is adjusting well and in good hands at the UCLA Medical Center rehab facility. Lohan's mother, Dina, spoke to RadarOnline about how the 24-year-old "Mean Girls" star is doing one day after she was released from a 13-day stint in a Los Angeles jail.

"I was finally able to hug my daughter [last night] after two long weeks of speaking to her from behind a glass wall," Dina Lohan said on Monday night. "Lindsay is doing well, and is appreciative of the hundreds of well-wishes she has received."

Lohan was released from prison in the early morning hours on Monday after serving less than two weeks of her 90-day sentence for a probation violation tied to a 2007 DUI conviction. Though Lohan was originally slated to check in to the Morningside Recovery center in Newport Beach, California, the judge in the case, Marsha Revel, ordered a last-minute switch to the UCLA facility for what was described as security reasons.

Radar Online reported that Lohan is expected to complete her entire court-ordered 90-day rehab program at the UCLA facility and then spend the next year on probation, during which she will be randomly tested for drugs.

This is the young actresses' fourth attempt at rehab, and her mother reacted to reports that others in the Lohan clan were not happy about the 11th-hour switch to a different facility. "Lindsay is with the utmost professionals and is in very good hands," she said. "I refuse to respond to any of my ex-husband's [Michael Lohan] false allegations about myself or my family."

Michael Lohan, who is estranged from his daughter, told the site on Monday that he feared Lindsay would be isolated from her family while at the UCLA center, a situation Michael called "a stupid decision ... Part of Lindsay's healing process is mending fences with her family."

A spokesperson for Lindsay Lohan has not returned calls for comment on her rehab stay.
