Lady Gaga wasn't the only artist to get good news from MTV Tuesday.
Eminem racked up eight MTV Video Music Award nominations, making him the year's most nominated male artist, the network announced.
"Apparently MTV doesn't care that I have two massive stadium shows on the other side of the country the day after the VMAs. F me, right?!?!," says the rapper, who's up for Best Male and Best Hip Hop Videos. "I mean, I'll be there but don't expect me to be nice about it."
Gaga's record-breaking 13 nominations include two Video of the Year nods – and she'll go head to head against Katy Perry and Ke$ha in the Best Female Video category. All three ladies, along with Beyoncé, will also face off for Best Pop Video.
