Robert Pattinson Refuses to Rep Burberry for 1 Million

Reports today are claiming Robert Pattinson has turned down an offer to be the face of Burberry, stating: "I'm an actor, not a model."

Rob, who modelled as a teen and once described himself as having "the most unsuccessful modelling career" was reportedly offered a £1m deal with the British fashion powerhouse, headed up by designer Christopher Bailey, but refused point blank.

A source said: "Christopher [Bailey] and the Burberry team were desperate to sign Robert as the main person in their new campaign. It would grace all their stores worldwide and be in all the best publications. They went to Robert but he immediately, politely, turned them down. As far as Robert sees things he's an actor by trade and that's his art. He doesn't want to start becoming a brand or anything."

The move into fashion would have seen R-Patz model alongside Harry Potter star Emma Watson, who recently slammed Twilight (of which Rob is the star) for "selling sex".
