As for “Dark Knight Rising”, in which Portman was said to be in contention to play the female lead, the actress also plays the ‘huh?’ game.
”Oh, I don’t know anything about that”.
It’s possible that Portman has had talks and has turned both those roles down, or it’s possible that Warner Bros hasn’t yet reached out to the actress about either role. With Portman recently announcing her pregnancy though, I’d say it’s a long shot she’s going to end up in either film now anyway.
