Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis on Cover of 'Elle' August 2011

On what they consider a perfect first date:
Justin: “Something more simple than extravagant. Scrabble.”
Mila: “Monopoly.”
Justin: “Scrabble’s a good date. If she can’t spell, I don’t want to hang out with her. So that’s a good test.”
Mila: “I can’t spell at all. [To Justin] Now we’ll never be friends.”

Lance Bass Campaigning for Justin Timberlake for Oscar

Lance doesn’t hesitate to name the film of 2010 he thinks stands above the rest — “The Social Network” — and who from the film is especially deserving of a wink from the Academy.

“I think ‘The Social Network’ just made sense for everyone,” he told NextMovie exclusively. “It was something that everyone had in common. Everyone could relate to it. Even I finally got a Facebook page, and honestly, it changed my life. The movie captured that revolution, and Justin helped capture that revolution.”

So, does he think his former bandmate deserves an Oscar?

“Of course! Justin did an amazing job in the movie. He was incredible. I think the movie itself should be nominated for sure as well. I mean, why not?”

Lance last saw Justin at the New York premiere of the movie. “I was excited to see Justin regardless, but then, when I saw the film, it just blew me away. And he blew me away. His portrayal of Sean was just amazing.”

Asked if he gave Justin any tips on his performance after seeing the film, Lance joked, “Yeah. I’m gonna give him tips.”

Justin Timberlake's PR team pushing him for Oscar Nomination

According to LaineyGossip, the studio and Justin Timberlake's people are helping him score an Oscar nomination. They’re pushing his name hard, making a case to the Academy that Justin’s presence will improve television ratings, attract a younger audience. Many of the experts think Justin’s acting is not worthy of even a discussion, let alone inclusion in a conversation about "Best Supporting Actors". But they also concede that he’s currently the king of the popularity contest and that as opposed to some of his competition, he’d campaign harder and more desperately than anyone else.

Sean Parker Reacts to Justin Timberlake in 'Social Network'

As portrayed by Justin Timberlake in 'The Social Network,' Napster founder Sean Parker (who jumped onboard Facebook at age 24 as a founding president) is a Silicon Valley rock star.

But despite the Oscar buzz generated by the fledgling actor for playing Mark Zuckerberg's mentor in the film (co-starring Jesse Eisenberg and Andrew Garfield), the real Sean Parker, 30, isn't quite giving Timberlake a standing ovation.

"It's a great performance of a character that isn't me," Parker told Us on Thursday night, while attending the 2010 Angel Ball, a cancer fundraiser in New York City.

Asked whether Timberlake, 29, should be nominated for his first Academy Award, Parker laughed.

"That's a good question," he replied. "It's not my industry."

Though Parker was ousted from Facebook after a 2005 cocaine arrest (no charges were filed), he still unofficially advises the company. Reportedly worth millions today, and on his way to becoming a billionaire, he has now steered his business focus back to the music industry.

New Entertainment Weekly Cover: Men from The Social Network

In a frank interview, Timberlake talks about coping with the pressures of the music industry and his choice to focus on his movie career for the time being:

EW: Are there people you work with who are telling you that you should put another record out sooner rather than later?
Timberlake: …Does a painter make a painting because he has to make it by December 21st? No, he doesn’t. It happens when it pours out of him. That’s how music is for me….
Do you think it’s dangerous to wait so long? Christina Aguilera waited four years between albums, and her fans don’t seem to care about her right now.
If you’re asking me, no. I never stop making music. I don’t know what else to tell you, except that I just don’t know [in] what capacity I want to be involved anymore.
That sounds very final.
Timberlake: No. All I’m saying is, in very simple terms, I’ll know when I know. And until I know, I don’t know.

In the meantime, Timberlake was as dedicated to making The Social Network as his costars, all of whom invested themselves deeply in their roles. Jesse Eisenberg, who plays Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerberg, admits that during filming, he sometimes felt like everyone was ganging up on him. “I had the unique job on set of being the only one to defend my character,” says the 27 year-old actor. “Even though he does some things that hurt other characters, I could only view him as sympathetic. I developed a great affection for him.”
