Morgan Freeman Hints at Multiple Batman Villains for Next Installment

When asked about his previously stated preference for Catwoman, Freeman said that he still hoped to see the feline vixen appear in Batman 3, but admitted that he did not really know if Nolan had her in mind. He also hinted that there might be multiple villains in Batman 3.

"Well, yes and no. But I don't know if [the Catwoman] is going to be [Nolan's] choice. There's been talk of the Riddler, the Joker — I don't mean the Joker — the Penguin. Philip Seymor Hoffman as the Penguin, and that sounds interesting to me. So we'll wait and see. And there just may be more than one."
