Maksim: 'I Just Don't Care About Bristol'

"The Insider"'s Lara Spencer spoke to "Dancing with the Stars" pro dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy in New York Friday, where the ballroom bad boy didn't mince words.

Maksim started off the short interview by saying that both him and Brandy were shocked that they were eliminated. Lara told him "Let's talk about the scores. On paper, you shouldn't have been eliminated. It should have been Bristol." To which he replied "It is what it is." Then they talked about the Bristol advantage which she gets the "Palin Factor", which means the votes coming from conservative voters who don't watch the show.

Maksim says "If that is true, then it is very sad that people are voting that are not watching the show."

Does Maksim think Bristol being on the Top 3 will hurt the show? He thinks no. He says it puts a different spin on the show.

And when asked if he NOT like Bristol. He says "No. It's not about that. I have people who I care about and not care about and I don't care about Bristol.
