Pirates 4 wraps principal photography; trailer debut date announced

Producer Jerry Bruckheimer has announced via his Twitter account that PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: ON STRANGER TIDES has finally wrapped principal photography. The film is directed by Rob Marshall (NINE), and is released in cinemas next summer.

Johnny Depp stars alongside Penelope Cruz , Ian McShane, Sam Claflin, Kevin R. McNally, Astrid Berges-Frisbey and Geoffrey Rush.

What’s also interesting is that the trailer for the film is going to be attached to the next big Disney release, TRON: LEGACY, a fact that was also mentioned in Bruckheimer’s tweet, which was posted yesterday:
