Mila Kunis graces the cover of Cosmo

Mila Kunis has revealed a closely guarded secret – for years she was blind in one eye. The Black Swan tells U.S. magazine Cosmopolitan that she struggled with chronic iritis, an inflammation of the iris, for years.

Kunis, 27, says: ‘I was blind in one eye for many years, and nobody knew.’

As a result of her condition she suffered blurred vision, developed a cataract and her eyes became different colours.


But surgery has corrected the problem. Kunis says: ‘I was blind. I’m not blind anymore. I had surgery a couple of months ago.’

‘They cut it open and dropped a new lens in there.’
